Israeli warplanes launch massive airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT — Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes this morning on multiple towns in southern Lebanon.

Local sources reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted several towns and villages, including Al-Aziyah, Ayta al-Shab, Al-Zrarieh, Al-Taybeh, Ein Qana, Kafr Maki, Majdel Zoun, Al-Mahmoudiyah, Al-Ayshiyeh, Zebqin, Ansar, and Wadi Hassan. This bombardment coincided with extensive Israeli reconnaissance flights over Lebanese airspace.

Additionally, airstrikes were reported in towns such as Talousah, Rob Thalathin, Shehine, Al-Malakiyeh, Yater, Khiam, Markaba, and Hawla, as well as in Wadi al-Salouqi in the south and the town of Zalaya in the western Beqaa region.
